Information:  The foundation supports Utah families with rare diseases.  AHF has also provided financial support to local children’s hospitals, local school districts, and other local charities that support these families. AHF continues to find unique diseases and conditions where families need assistance.

Autism Council of Utah

Information: ACU is an independent council working to foster collaboration, communication, and learning among families and agencies. They promote access to resources.  It is a parent initiated and run program. They focus on getting information out, supporting autism initiatives and programs, work at filling the gaps in services, and provide opportunities for families to find resources.

Information: Autism Speaks has become the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization. They also increase awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.


Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinic (formerly Autism Diagnostic)

Information: This is an outpatient clinic serving individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. This program is a partnership of the University of Utah Department of Psychiatry, Neurobehavior HOME Program, and the University Neuropsychiatric Institute.  They provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, behavior management, school consultations, and a variety of therapeutic groups for children, adolescents, and adults.

Information: Camp K is located in Salt Lake City in Emigration Canyon.  They offer several programs during the school year and summer including: camps, horseback riding, after school programs, teen club, adult club, and K-kids Club.

Guardianship Associates of Utah (GAU)

Information: Guardianship Associates of Utah is a non-profit organization. It provides direct Guardianship, Conservator and Trust services to individuals who have been deemed by a court as incapacitated, incompetent or legally disabled. GAU contracts directly with the Office of Public Guardian in the State of Utah to provide services to individuals. GAU also provide private pay guardianship and conservator services for a fee.

Information: The National Ability Center is located in Park City.  They offer an array of adapted recreational activities including: horseback riding, skiing, swimming, and archery.

Neurobehavior H.O.M.E. Clinic

Information: The Neurobehavior HOME Clinic is a coordinated health care model for meeting the medical and mental health needs of people with developmental disabilities.  They provide services to children and adults including primary care, psychiatric services, medication management, counseling services, positive behavior supports, and case management.
